One of the greatest jobs I have is owning a Real Estate Auction business. Local agents are faced with the increasing numbers of clients saying, "It's been on the market for 200 days, how else can I get this sold?". Smart agents have called me yelling HELP! I do not have a magic wand to waive over the property and say, "SOLD" however I will promise one thing. I will do everything I can to protect you and your Brokers Commission! Yes, you heard me correctly. The auction method does not work in every situation and I am up-front with owners. If the numbers do not work...they simply do not work. There is a formula that needs to take place. Remember, when you are faced with a tough property. Don't lose the listing! Get informed about the Auction Method of Marketing and find yourself a REALTOR FRIENDLY Real Estate Auctioneer you can trust. Ask him/her questions and become educated. Don't be afraid to ask the Auctioneer to accompany you and the Seller to explain what auctions are all about.
